Rubi Rosé (OPG Trapan Bruno)
Reductive – vinuos beginning, introduction to red fruit, floralfirecracker that explodes and turns into a dirt beetroot aromatic complexity. In the mouth freshness, grapefruit-raspberry-colored coat is lost in the middle of minerality, long aftertaste.Fruitiness and softness of merlot, strength and sharpness of tannic cabernet sauvignon, cherry and pepper syrah hide behind teran. Freshness, fruitiness raspberry and violet flowers dominates this Rose.
Terra Mare (OPG Trapan Bruno)
At first glance looks quite dense. Predominant red ruby , only a slight purple glare gives the mark of¸personality that is in the glass. Under a light coal smoke, the first smell pierces with sanguinacio, budin noir, black pudding mixed with finochio, smoked pork sausage with fennel.
The second smell begins with raspberry fruitiness, riddled through flower of violet and ends with pepery-spicy-herbal complexity of Mediterranean maquis. In the mouth, undoubtedly Teran. Fresh, fruity, slightly tannic and smooth. The dark horse of Istrian winemaking, in Trapans expression.
Che Teran 2012 (OPG Trapan Bruno)
Teran in the Trapan wine station flows from the tap, is in the bloodstream of the winemaker and so it’s the only ingredient of this monovarietal sparkler. Melted raspberry jelly candy mixed with smoked salmon is what you see in the glass.
Fragrant raspberries vinosity wrapped in violet petals, which dominate the brioche and make this sparkling aperitifly dominant. Teranic blood, without sweat, and with tears of salinity, caress the mouth and sings in a hedonistic sunset of old Istrian, teran varietal, Mediterranean, cheerful wine.
Ponente (OPG Trapan Bruno)
The first vintage of Malvasia with a new modern label expression. The label follows the stylistics. Wine for the young in years and spirit. Modern, crisp, fresh drinkable wine. On the nose, citrus and green apple fruit with a floral hint of Istrian meadow flowers, and light vinously rounded typical varietal scent, giving Ponente from this vintage complexity and modern expression. In the mouth the aromatic spectrum of fruity-floral base is upgraded with noble bitter almond and “salty” ending pronounced minerality. Fresh, medium to long aftertaste, which along with medium body and alcohol give serious touch to this “merriment” which seems to be reflecting the character of the winemaker.
Uroboros 2012 (OPG Trapan Bruno)
Golden yellow glare gives an intro on the processing method and quality of the grapes, the greenish infraction on youth and aging potential. Laser accurate first nose indicates toasted almonds in butter, turning into sage-chamomile floral hints with ripe freshness of yellow-green fruit, dipped with sage honey. Complex. More “nose”, more pleasures!
In the mouth the whole spectre of fruitiness! Ripe pear and green apple with drops of honey, sage and chamomile tea, elderflower, sprinkled pinch of sage, rosemary and “fior di sale”, followed by a broad and long aftertaste of noble bitter almond. The wine lasts and lasts, and leaves a minerallysalty touch on the lips. Trademark wine of the winery with the most “over 90” points rating, vintage 2012 keeps up to the level.
Nigra Virgo Revolution 2012 (OPG Trapan Bruno)
Freshness and violet from Teran, currant from Cabernet Sauvignon, the cheery of Syrah, finesse and raspberry from merlot intertwine in the nose whilst the eye enjoys a thick viscosity of ruby red claws and purple hues. The palate detects smoothness, freshness, fine tannicity, minerality, wide and long aftertaste. Teranic freshness, florality and youth, complemented with a serious extractivity and tannicity from Cabernet Sauvignon, leaning on the fruitiness and pepper from Syrah, finishes with Merlot fruity softness. But Teran, the flagship of this and all future red and rose wines from the Trapan winery dominates and essentially determines this wine.

Kappi Teran barrique (Wines Cattunar)
Teran Kappi is „vin de garde“ of Cattunar winery. We are proud of its elegancy, roundness, velvety texture and bouquet which combines primary aromas (dark summer fruits) with nunces of leather, vanilla, and humidor. The color of Kappi in spite of its years, with its vibrancy and depth can compete with color of any young Teran, which just ads to its potential for aging.
Paring with food: The wine Kappi Teranis meant to be paired with broad classical cuisine, wether we are talking about anglo-french (beef Wellington) , french (boeuf bourgignon), istria-friulana (deer žgvacet) or venetian (risotto with amarone, in our case with Kappi). The hight of pairing Kappi with food make, of course, truffles. This wine, as we dare to say, is God-given for combining with white istrian truffle.
Muškat rose (Wines Cattunar)

Muscat Rouge is autochthonous istrian vine variety with low yield because its has only female functional flowerswith difference to most of other vines which have androgynous flower. Wine is made by long maceration typical for red wines, of ruby red color with nuances of purple. It has an intense smell that of mostly fruity chatacter with strong flower aromas and friuty additions with note of spices which givs complexity to it. In flower aromas one can sense smell of roses and in fruit atomas one can find dried cranberries, wild strawberries and cherries. Smell is very rich, complex and elegant.
Villanova vintage 2012., is of very complex taste because of its particular way of vinification, grapes are first dried in wooden boxes and then berries are macerated in tono or barrique barrels for about 120 days. Tannins and acid preserved freshness so the wine is suprisingly fresh and pleasant. It tastes moderately sweet with high sugat content (44,0 g/l) on the border of semi-sweet and sweet wine, but...

Malvazija Collina (Wines Cattunar)
We are proud of the review of „Jutarnji list“, who wrote that „Collina is a wonderful, sensational wine.“ Collina is, in any case, a wine of complex production, what in the end creates beautiful communicativeness inside a bottle: it is surely rich, full, to eyes very oily looking, multilayered (has primary, secondary and even terciary aroma) wine, as designed to be coplementary to food. Pairing with food Collina goes very well with lobster or shrimp, but you don't need luxury to bring out its full gastronomic potential. We reccomend pairing it with veal chops or beautifly roasted chicken. To those connoisseurs who are prone to oriental flavors (and that are not conservative), we would suggest to try it with thai or malaysian curry (both of which are connected with coconut milk, which perfectly aligns with Collina's texture and bouquet).

Pairing with food: Senator superbly serves as aperitiv, and it goes very well alongside with fish carpaccio, smoked white fish, smoked salmon, and as well with cottage cheese and young goat cheese. On the other side of gastronomical spectrum, one should definetly have to try it with ripe, unsweetened strawberries, or with strawberries in balsamic and green pepper sauce.

Chardonnay (Wines Cattunar)
Our recent Chardonnay, vintage 2013., is a triumph of terrior wine. The year 2013 was a warm harvest, which by definition, should have give a large buttery, fourteen and a half percent Chardonnay. But, the soil in some of our areas, rewarded us with somewhat mineral, almost salty, fresh and elegant wine, for which we dare to say it reminds a bit of basic Chablis wine. Our Chardonnays are medalists on Decanter World champinship.
Pairing with food: This wine is perfect to go with oysters, scallops, mussels, white fish on grill and classic risotto. We are looking forward to season of wild asparagus which, we strongly believe, will fall in love with our mineral Chardonnay.
Nono Malvazija (Wines Cattunar)
The wine has an exceptional aromatic persistence, ranging from aromatic herbs such as sage, parsley, and oregano, to tropical fruits like guava and kumquat, dried citrus, very ripe summer yellow fruits, quince, ripe pear, peach, fig, almond, and flowers such as hawthorn, wild rose, and jasmine, and carob in an exciting and endless sequence that leads to gentle spicy hints of cloves, cinnamon, hay, and tobacco.
The texture is oily, while the structure is firm, with a long aftertaste in which ripe and dried fruits mix with a slight bitterness. The wine is full-bodied, oily, mineral, with a pleasant fresh finish and elegant tannins.
Gastronomic recommendation: This wine calls for substantial and elegant food, ranging from shrimp, lobster, and fish such as turbot and sea bream, to veal fillet with porcini mushrooms, frittatas, and pasta with black truffles. We also recommend game roasts and stews (pheasant, quail, venison).

Muscat white of Momiano (Wines Cattunar)
The variety of Muscat we call Muscat Momiano here in Istra and Croatia is in fact „muscat a la petit grains“ (Muscat of small berries), and it is one of the most appreciated from more than hundred Muscat varietiesgrown around the world. In our, semi-sweet edition we tried to preserve the unique aroma of natural ripe grapes (wine made of Muscat is the only wine that has the smell of ripe grapes), luxury of great desert wines, freshness and lightness by which Istrian Muscat is famous for.

Roxanich Venezia 2019 (Roxanich Wineries)
Roxanich Venezia is our tribute to "La Serenissima" - the historical Republic of Venice, our ancestors, and our history. It was a time of turmoil and constant change, and it is precisely in that manner that Roxanich Venezia was born: with the idea of creating bottled history of our heritage.
Roxanich Venezia pulsates with life. It is unimaginable for Roxanich Venezia to be anything other than a red wine, turbulent and complex, constantly evolving, like the life of ancient Venice.
By combining indigenous and internationally renowned grape varieties such as Merlot, Teran, Refosco, and Cabernet Sauvignon, sometimes vinified separately and sometimes together as the result of a harvest from the same vineyard, a balanced blend of new life in the bottle is achieved. Mladen's idea is to depict the life and dining culture of Renaissance Venice - a dynamic wine full of joy, bursting with energy.
It begins with a lazy swirl in the glass, offering a smooth texture of gentle tannin...
