Teran is characterized by a deep purple color and clearly visible wine tears on the glass walls. On the nose, there are moderately strong and young aromas of red fruits such as raspberries and cherries, as well as spicy notes like black pepper. It has a rich and mature aroma, and over time, it releases very mild notes of wood and smoke, adding to its aromatic profile and complexity. On the palate, it is completely dry with moderate acidity. Wild forest strawberries and blackberries emerge on the aftertaste. It has a strong and firm body. Teran can be quite wild, but this one is really well tamed and refined. It pairs well with grilled red meats, tomato-based pasta dishes, various ground meats, and stronger, hearty winter stews.
