This is an old indigenous Istrian grape variety. It has a ruby color with a purple hue. Its aroma is reminiscent of forest fruits and violet flowers, while the taste is a dry wine, fresh, tannic, and characteristic of Teran.
Recommended serving temperature is 16 - 18°C. It pairs well with stronger dishes such as prosciutto, strong cheeses, game meat, dark meat, roasted dishes, and grilled food.
