The company “Aura proizvodi” produces exclusive traditional products such as brandies, jams and other traditional products made of wild herbs and wild fruits picked in an ecologically clean environment on the slopes of the Ćićarija mountain far from roads and inhabited settlements. Starting from production for our own needs, we have developed into a family company putting emphasis primarily on the quality of our products.
Our main goal is that our products have the same quality like the ones of our grandmothers, who had made products at home without any preservatives or artificial ingredients. Our production includes interesting delicacies like jams made of dandelion, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, fig, plum, cornel and brandies which are aging for three years, half a year in maceration, then settling and being distilled for the next two and a half year up to six times in order to naturally get rid of the sediment. The basis of all brandies is homemade pomace, pear or apple brandy. Beside the traditional Biska, Medenica and Teranino, we produce brandies made of sage, cornel, carob, olives and almond, wild pear, wild apple, rose petals, rose hip, forest fruit, peppermint, plum, dried fig, Wild plants, Honey and Mistletoe brandy, bitter liqueur based on wormwood, brandy Bianca and Moscato.
Biska extra is produced from white mistletoe picked exclusively from the apple tree and we are the only company that is producing it on the market. Then there is also the Millefrutti barrique brandy- a distillate of semi-annually macerated wild fruits, distilled twice and aging for three years in barrique barrels.
A special place in our production belongs to Gin Karbun made of wheat distillate, juniper berries and 20 spices. Gin Karbun passes filtration through activated carbon and offers it as an important component in serving. It is inspired with the force of the last carbunari (coal producers) from Ćićarija, an area where exclusively natural ingredients crucial for the creation of Gin Karbun grow.
Our products can be found in better wine shops across Croatia, in delicacy stores, renowned hotels, top restaurants and airports. We also have our own shops in the Istrian Hum, the smallest town in the world, Buzet, the town of truffles where we have the distillery and where the production takes place and in Novigrad, Grožnjanu-the city of artists, Poreč, Motovun and Rovinj. Apart from Istria we have store in Rijeka, Vrbnik on the island of Krk and Split.
The “AurA” products have been recognized on the market as a top brand into which a lot of work and an immense amount of love was invested for each of the products; therefore, our slogan corroborates all of the above:
