The Peršurić family produces wine in the village of Ženodraga.

The first generation planted vines of Malvazija Istarska and BorgonjA at the location of Lokvina, the second generation planted plantations at the location of Prcanka and Kanal.

In the third - current generation, the wine varieties of Chardonnay, Muscat, Merlot, Terano and Cabernet Sauvignon were planted (current owner and winemaker Mario Peršurić). All wines have the ZOI label, a protected designation of origin - Vinogorje western Istria.

The vineyards are located at an ideal altitude of 160-180 meters above sea level, with an ideal east-west position that makes ideal use of solar insolation. In total, we own 12 hectares of vineyards, with the majority of the Istrian Malvasia wine variety.

Mario Peršurić started the production of bottled wine under his own label Ženodrag in the mid-nineties, and as a third generation winemaker, he renovated all the existing vineyards and planted new vineyards.

In addition to working in the vineyard, he worked in science for a short time and obtained a master's degree. Continuing the centuries-old family tradition of wine production, he translated his love for Istrian red grapes and green vines into golden drops of wine.
